EmolumentThe selected candidates will draw consolidated emoluments as per Institute
Rules, depending upon qualifications & experience

  • Research Associate : Rs. 36,000/- per month plus 30% HRA
  • Senior Research Fellow (Project) : Rs. 28,000/- per month plus 30% HRA
    (As per DST OM dated 21.10.2014)


  • Research Associate : Candidate for position of RA should be Ph.D in Immunology and
    preferably having experience in the field of tuberculosis research.
  • Senior Research Fellow (Project) : Candidate for position of SRF should be having Master’s degree in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry and minimum of two years of experience in Immunology lab.

Job Description & Desired Knowledge: Standardization of M.tb infection in TCRβ−/− mice and examine the involvement of macrophages in pathogenesis of TB-IRIS. To carry out gene expression profiling of M.tb-infected TCRβ−/− mouse macrophages in the presence or absence of CD4+ T cells and to elucidate the underlying molecular pathways. Validation of microarray data with qRT-PCR and functional assays.
