We seek an enthusiastic Research Associate specialized in high resolution electron microscopy data processing to join the team of Dr. Ariel Blocker for two years, on a project funded by a 4-year Wellcome Trust Investigator Award entitled “Molecular mechanisms powering a bacterial injection device”. The work would involve single particle analysis of the inner membrane portion of type III secretion systems, as well as investigating the overall architecture of these devices in different states for secretion by cryo electron tomography.
