Agharkar Research Institute (ARI) is an autonomous institute of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. The current research and development activities of ARI span across all areas of life sciences spread over six different themes, namely Biodiversity & Paleobiology, Bioenergy, Bioprospecting, Developmental Biology, Genetics & Plant Breeding, and Nanobioscience.

Job Title: Junior Research Fellow

Number of Vacancies: One

Project Title: Role of BMP signalling inhibitors Noggin and Gremlin in pattern formation in Hydra

Funding Agency/Scheme: CSIR ES Project

Duration: Up to 01-05-2019

Eligibility: M.Sc. in Zoology or Biotechnology with minimum 55% marks and clearance of NET / GATE (Candidates having NET / GATE qualification are only eligible for interview )

Desirable: Experience in hydra biology

Age Limit: 28 years, relaxation by 5 years for SC, ST and 3 years for OBC candidates

Emolument:  Rs.25,000/- + HRA
