Join as JRF for Green Functional Foods Project @ NIFTEM

National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM) was conceptualized by Government of India on persistent demand of the food industry to have an apex body as a “One Stop Solution Provider” for the various problems of the sector. Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India has set up this institute with an initial investment of Rs. 500 crore (US $100 million). The institute is spread over an area of 100 acres. The institute intends to act as a centre of excellence and an apex world class centre of global standards in the area of food technology and management. It will cater to the needs of various stakeholders such as entrepreneurs, industries, exporters, policy makers, government and existing institutions. NIFTEM being an apex institution under Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) have developed strong linkages with industries.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of JRF on purely contractual basis to work in DST/SERB funded Research Project

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Masters in Life Sciences/ Food Sciences /Food Science and Nutrition/ Food Technology and Management and with 60% marks or more or
  • B. Tech in Food Science and Technology/ Food Technology and Management

Desirable: Higher qualification and applicants with NET/GATE/JRF qualified or experience of working in the relevant area

Age: Maximum 35 years for male and Maximum 40 years for female (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per Government rules).

Fellowship per month: 16000/- + HRA (@10%)

Submit separate application for each post & project. Advance copy can be submitted by email to concerned PI, however hard copy must reach by due date. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending interview, if called for.
