Interested candidates are requested to appear before a selection committee on 26th November, 2009 at 11.30 A.M. in the room of the Head of the Department of Biochemistry, Calcutta University, 35, Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata-700019 to work as a Junior Research Fellow in the project entitled “Elucidation of Molecular Mechanism for the Subcellular Distribution of Phosphoinositide Kinases Regulated by Different Patho-Physiological Conditions” funded by DBT under the guidance of Dr. Anirban Siddhanta of Dept of Biochemistry. Tenure of the project is initially for one year but extendable for up to 3 years (maximum) subjected to satisfactory performance.

A walk-in interview will be held on 18.11.2009 for the position of Research Fellow in the project entitled “MicroRNA mediated modulation of globin gene expression” sponsored by Department of Biotechnology, Government of India to the Department of Biophysics, Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics for scientific research. The fellowship amount is at per with DBT guideline. The project is sanctioned up to March, 2011. All the necessary documents and CV (duplicate) are to be produced during interview.
