Young Scientist Award 2009 from CIFE

The annual award for Best Young Scientist in Fishery Sciences will be in the form of cash of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees five thousand only) along with a scroll of appreciation.

Regulations
Scientists / Researchers may apply in the prescribed proforma forwarded through the respective Heads of the institution / organisation indicating the overall performance (scientific contributions and achievements, organizational ability, contribution towards the growth of the institute, etc.).

Last date to receive Application: 25th June, 2009

Age : Max 40 years
a) Major scientific contributions during the preceding two years
b) Project(s) under which the work was done
c) Publications
d) Extra-curricular activities, if any
e) Contributions to Institution building
f) Awards/Fellowships/Recognitions, if any received during the last two years
 
Note :
 i. A scientist's performance/contribution during the period of his/her study leave may also be considered
ii. The awardees will have to make a presentation of the work carried out by him/her for which the award is presented.
