Official Notification for V.N. Bakshi Post Doctoral Fellowship In Life Sciences
Application are invited on plain paper, giving full details of educational qualification and experience, etc. from the candidates interested in pursuing post-doctoral research in some frontier areas in Life Sciences. The selected candidate will be placed in one of the constituent departments of the Faculty of Inter-disciplinary and Applied Sciences, as per the details:
Position: Post-doctoral fellow (1)
Qualification: (i) I class M.Sc. degree in any branch of Life Sciences
(ii) Ph.D. in the relevant area supported by good publications
Fellowship: Rs 35,000 p.m. (consolidated)
Duration: Two years, may be extended to third year, based on the progress
Research Areas
(i) Plant gene expression; (ii) Plant molecular biology and biotechnology; (iii) Microbial molecular biology and biotechnology; (iv) Biochemistry, medical biochemistry, diagnostics, vaccines and drug targets; (v) Fermentation technology: process development and down stream processing; (vi) Host–pathogen biology and clinical bacteriology and (vii) Human molecular genetics
