TERI – Deakin student fellowship
Applications are invited from students for the above fellowship in the following areas of interest:
1. Heavy Metal / Nanoparticle accumulation in plants and fungi and study of genes and their expression level for integrating hyper accumulation properties.
2. Excessive production of nutraceutical compounds by hairy root cultures.
3. Nutraceutical and food additives production mechanism in algal systems.
The candidate should have master degree with minimum 60% marks and 1½ years research experience in any of the above areas OR M.Phil degree with similar research experience.

The interview will be conducted at TERI, New Delhi office (addressed mentioned above) on September 10th 2009. The shortlisted candidates will be informed in the first week of September 2009.
The fellowship will be provided for 3+1 year duration equivalent to UGC/CSIR NET and degree will be awarded by Deakin University, Australia. An opportunity of six months work at Deakin University, Australia during Ph.D. would also be available.
