Walk in Interview for SRF post in multiple disciplines at NRCG, Junagadh

Qualified candidates are invited to attend WALK-IN-INTERVIEW at the Directorate of Groundnut Research, Junagadh for positions of Senior Research Fellow  on contractual basis.  The initial appointment will be up to 31.03.2012, which can be extended further on the basis of performance of the candidate.

Vacancies exist in : Plant Breeding, Genetics & Cytogenetics, Biotechnology, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Plant pathology, Entomology, Nematology, Agronomy
Number of vacancies : Not fixed. Depending upon the work requirement and the number of suitable candidates available, the total number of vacancies may vary from 10 to 15 irrespective of disciplines.
Essential qualifications : M.Sc. (Ag.) in the relevant discipline or M.Sc. in Life Sciences.
Age limit : Not more than 35 years for men and not more than 40 years for women on the date of interview. Age relaxation for women candidates will be applicable as per rules. The above age limits are relaxable for SC, ST and OBC candidates as per Government of India norms.  
Emoluments : Rs. 16,000/- PM+HRA for the first two years and Rs. 18,000/- PM+HRA in the third year

General information :  
At the time of interview candidates must bring along with his/her passport size photograph, curriculum vitae mentioning the number of group to which he/she wants to appear for the interview and also all the relevant certificates, documents in original and one photocopy of each. On the date of interview, candidate must show at least provisional certificate for the essential qualification for considering  his/her candidature.  The candidates appearing for interview will not be entitled to claim any travelling or other allowances.
