The following temporary positions are available in a DST funded project entitled “Geochemistry and Genesis of Iron nodule in the Ganga plains and the implications to the elemental dynamics” till March 2013, and possibly beyond.

• Post: Research Associate
• No of Post– 01
• Emoluments: Rs 18000/- p.m. + H.R.A.
• Qualification:  Ph.D. degree in Environmental Sciences with specialization in the Geochemistry of sediments/soils and experience in handling analytical instruments such as AAS, ICP-AES and XRF.

Selected Research Associate is expected to carryout
(1) research in aspects related to the project
(2) to maintain and run the analytical facilities of the lab.
