Walk-in-Interview for RA post in Leishmania donovani model system at IIT, Gandhinagar

Applications are invited for a walk in interview to be held in the Conference Room of the Department of Biotechnology on 04 May 2011 at 12:00 pm for a temporary position of RA/extended SRF/SRF/JRF in a DBT, Govt. of India funded project entitled " Betraying the parasite’s redox system: Studies on spermidine synthase of Leishmania donovani”.

• Scale of pay : Up to Rs. 22,000 (Consolidated) depending upon position and qualification + HRA as per institute rules.
• Qualification : PhD in any life science related subjects. Candidate who has submitted thesis but degree not awarded will be considered for extended SRF. Candidates with M.Sc/B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent degree in any life science related subject will be considered for JRF or SRF
• Terms : Appointment will be initially made for a period of one (1) year and may be extended for up to maximum duration of the project.
