Genomics & Computational biology project at TIFR has vacancy for JRF
Applications are invited for a position of Junior Research Fellow to work on the following DBT funded project in TIFR:
Project tile : “Understanding the functional roles of quantitative trait polymorphisms and the molecular basis of their complementary interactions”.
- Qualification : 4-year Bachelors’ degree programme in Biology equivalent to B.Tech. or MSc. in Genomics or Computational Biology.
- Experience : Required experience in microarray/genotyping data analysis and any of the programming languages R, Perl. Python.
- Duration : Appointment as JRF is temporary and to be renewed each year up to a total period of 3 years depending upon performance.
- Fellowship : Rs 16,000/- + 30% HRA.
