UGC-Centre for Advanced Studies in Botany,North Eastern Hill University To Recruit JRF &TA / M.Sc in Lifescience can apply

1. Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow
Number of Post: one
Qualifications: M.Sc. degree in Botany/Zoology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Agriculture/Life Sciences with a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination (NET/GATE/BINC
candidates will be given preference)
Emolument: Rs.12000.00 pm for the Ist and IInd year and Rs. 14000.00 pm for the IIIrd year plus HRA as per NEHU rules

2.Name of the Post: Technical Assistant (TA)
Number of Post: one
Emolument: Rs.12,000/- pm plus 15% HRA
Qualifications: B.Sc. (Hons.) in Botany/Zoology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Agriculture/Life
Sciences/Chemistry. Candidates with post B.Sc. laboratory experience in Biotechnology shall be preferred.

Note: The positions are purely temporary for the duration of the project. The emoluments for RA/JRF/SRF may change as per the norms of DBT, New Delhi. The appointment does not confer any entitlement or right over the job for absorption in the university service.
