what to do after msc?
HI FRIEND...... I TOO HAVE JUST COMPLETED MY MSC IN BIOTECHNOLOGY .... I HAVE QUALIFIED BOTH NET (JRF) AND GATE...... AND I TOO AM NOT WILLING TO GO IN FOR A PHD....
BEFORE I SUGGEST YOU SOMETHING , READ THIS---------DURING MY MSC WHEN I USED TO ASK MY TEACHERS ABOUT OUR CARRER PROSPECTS.....THEY ALWAYS SAID YOU SHOULD DO A PHD..... BUT I PREPARED FOR LS ( LECTURERSHIP) THINKING THAT AFTER MSC I WILL BE ABLE TO JOIN SOMEWHERE AS A TECAHER IN COLLEGE..... BUT NOW I FIND NOTHING LIKE THAT .... SO WHAT I WANT TO SAY IS THAT THERE IS NOTHING FOR A MSC STUDENT IN THIS FIELD ... WE HAVE ONLY ONE OPTION ... THATS A PHD..... AND TO BE FRANK ... EVEN AFTER A PHD WE MAY STILL REMAIN WITH THE DOUBT ... WHAT TO DO NEXT.....
NOW WHY I TOLD YOU MY STORY IS ----- BECAUSE ON ONE HAND YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO DO A PHD AND ON THE SECOND YOU WISH TO DROP A YEAR AND PREPARE FOR NET..... REMEBER NET WILL ULTIMATELTY LAND YOU IN A PHD .... YOU WONT GET APPOINTED AS LECTURER AFTER GETTING LS .....( EVEN MOST PHD STUDENT DONT)... SO IN THE END YOU MIGHT END BEING FRUSTRATED .....
