How much 5M KOH must be added to 1L of 1M glycine at pH 9 to bring its pH exactly to 10?
A quantitative amino acid assay reveals that BSA contains 0.58% Trp by weight.
a) Calculate the minimum molecular weight of BSA( assuming that there is only one Trp residue per protein molecule)?
b)Gel filtration of BSA gives a molecular estimate of 70,000.How many Trp molecules are present in a molecule of serum albumin?
THE AMOUNT OF KOH TO BE ADDED IS 56.11*10^-4 gms.
