what would be the expected jrf cutoff for csir june 2012
there are only 74 seats for csir + ugc jrf in general category.
and upto rank 115 for SC and ST in Life Sciences.( As was in december net exam 2011).
Hello everyone....last june 2011 the cutt off was 43% for JRF and I cleared that exam with 57th rank. This year after seeing the paper I expect the cutt off to be somewhat same. I guess who all are expecting marks between 85-90 should get JRF this time. All the best

usually the cutoff of csir jrf hovers from 43-48 percent irrespective of the standard of question paper

it is usually balanced this time if sec c was easy then a was tough. sufficient to keep cut off constant.
a close look at paper reveals that though paper was easy but options were very close and cleverly prepared to trap the students.
hence expect a cut off 45 percent that is 90 marks JRF and 80 marks for LS. (cut off usually drops in june exam.)

i'm in mtech final year and 'd pass out only next year. i appeared for CSIR NEt this june and hoping a good score. my doubt is can i avail scholarship or am i eligible to apply for scholarship this time or i'll 've to apppear for dec exam too?
