QIAGEN Purification Technologies

Principle 
QIAGEN nucleic acid and protein purification technologies are available in different formats. QIAGEN columns and multiwell modules are manufactured to meet the highest standards in quality and performance. High-quality materials combined with an advanced modular design provide reproducibility and convenience in sample processing.

Materials 
QIAGEN columns and multiwell components are made of high-quality materials which are resistant to buffers and alcohols. These materials are selected to tolerate the centrifugation speeds and vacuum pressures necessary for high-throughput sample processing. All modules are carefully inspected to ensure consistency in quality, and are conveniently color-coded according to the application.

Gravity-flow columns 
 

QIAGEN-tips enable anion-exchange purification in a convenient gravity-flow format. They come pre-packed with QIAGEN Resin, so there is no need to handle loose resins. Extensive quality control in the packing procedure ensures that buffers and solutions will flow consistently and evenly through every column. QIAGEN-tips can be left unattended without running dry, as the flow of liquid will stop when it reaches the upper frit of the column. Each tip contains a frosted panel for easy labeling of samples. QIAGEN-tips are available in five different sizes, for different purification needs.
