CSIR AWARD LETTER
As we all probably know that the PhD admissions for autumn @ various institutes have begun. One major criteria on which we are eligible is CSIR-UGC-NET.
Can some one please throw light on, by when does CSIR dispatches the award letter?
Because at times its really delayed, so i would like to know how to approach the CSIR-academic unit people.
On the CSIR website, a list of concerened persons with their ids nand number is displayed, but as expected its not easy to get connected or if connected ;no one picks!
If any one has know how about this please do provide some info on what to do to get timely receipt of the award letter?

Its already over month from the last date of document reception from the CSIR complex and i have not received the certificate for the june 2012 and they are also not answering the mail as well as calls can anybody help me with this situation.

even i did not recieve my mark statement yet. i qualified LS. its really annoyin not to have markstamnt of one exam while the other is approaching.
Instead of waiting for months, One Should approach the Certificate Section at CSIR Complex directly, with Admit Card and Required documents of verification....the Award letter is handed over there only either to the Applicant or his/her relative who produced the documents.
Same with me, i qualified in december 2011 and june 2012 but did not received award letter of anyone of them sent documents in september three times 2 times for december and one times for june. they are really annoying me. will surely leave the field if this is the condition of indian research. Even CDRI interview in november and they alsked for original award letter.

As written by some one, it is very frustrating experience that really goes in getting CSIR certificate. No body picks up the phone as well reply for the emails. Recently, they have uploaded telephone numbers regarding the certificate queries. LS certificate is very important if you are joining as Assistant Professor or as a contract lecturer so do for the award of JRF.
