CSIR NET preparation
I am about to start my preparation for december CSIR NET 2012, can anyone please tell me what should be the strategy for the preparation for the exam. Is it necessary to go for all the units or I should go for some specific units in my area? My area is Biotechnology, so should I concentrate more on the immunology cell & mol bio, genetics because the animal kingdom and plant kingdom, developmental biology are the area which i am not so much acquinted with. So if anyone who has gone through the NET exam please show me some light in this area. I need to start my preoaration according to that.

i would suggest go through Unit 1, 2, 3, 8,11,13 thoroughly..and from the rest, try doing 2-3 more units out of your choice, more or less thoroughly. that should do.
also, try solving many questions, as many as you can since it becomes easier to intuitively guess the correct options, not just for net, but also for other entrances.
I guess you shud concentrate more on ecology , evolution and developmental biology as this time june 2012 paper had more questions from these areas.
whether studying particular topics and leaving other chapters will help??
