PhD positions in immunological bioinformatics and systems biology at The Technical University of Denmark
1. The Immunological Bioinformatics group, headed by Prof. Ole Lund, within the Center for Biological Sequence Analysis at the Technical University of Denmark is seeking highly motivated candidates for two PhD positions within machine learning methods in systems biology. For exceptional candidates a postdoc position may be offered. Successful candidates will work in a dynamic team developing tools, implementing methods, and applying techniques and procedures for high-throughput epitope analysis.
2. One candidate will be responsible for implementing and developing improved methods for prediction of peptides binding to MHC class I and II molecules, development of methods for prediction of immune dominance and T cell cross reactivity, and developing methods for predicting antigenic/epitope rich proteins based on systems biology approaches.
3. The other candidate will be responsible for implementing and developing different machine learning based methods for interpreting FACS (Fluorescence-activated cell sorting) data, predicting of MHC-peptide-TCR interactions, and analyzing imprints on T cell cross reactivity on epitope escape.
