One Senior Research Fellow & one Junior Research Fellow are required for the project entitled “Pilot scale production of structured mustard oil containing medium chain fatty acids by lipase catalysed reaction and evaluation of their physical, chemical and biochemical parameters” funded by Directorate of Vanaspati, Vegetable Oils & Fats, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Govt. of India vide Memo No.15/4/2011-Exp dt. 19.01.2012 under the supervision of Dr. Mahua Ghosh, Dept. of Chemical Technology, University of Calcutta, Duration of Project is 3 years.

Eligibility :
For JRF : (Fellowship Rs.12000/- consolidated)
For SRF : (Fellowship Rs.14000/- consolidated)
Educational Qualification :
a. B.Tech. in Chemical Technology (Oil Technology) OR First Class M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic) / Physiology / Biotechnology / Food & Nutrition / Environmental Science with Chemistry as one of the subject in the B.Sc. level. NET/GATE qualification is preferred for M.Sc. candidates.
b. First class M.Tech. in Oil Technology / Chemical Technology / Chemical Engineering or M.Sc. in the above said subjects (with at least 60% marks) with minimum two years research experience in oil technology or allied sciences. NET / GATE qualification is preferred for M.Sc. candidates.
Desirable : Relevant work experience may be given priority over educational qualifications.
Upper age limits : 26 years for JRF, 30 years for SRF
