Announcement for award of UGC-JRF under “Research Fellowship in Science for Meritorious Students” at Osmania University

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the Award of UGC-JRF under the UGC scheme of “Research Fellowship in Science for Meritorious Students” 2011 – 2012 – in the Department of Genetics, O.U. Hyderabad

• UGC Fellowships : @ Rs.14000/- per month and contingency grant of Rs.12,000/- per annum.
• Duration : Initially for 2 years and extendable for three more years on basis of performance
• Qualifications : M.Sc Genetics/Biotechnology/Microbiology/ Life Sciences with a minimum of 55% marks in the subject. Preference will be given for experience in the relevant Research
• Eligibility : Candidates registered for Ph.D in Genetics
