Walk in Interview for the posts of JRF/Project Assistant in DST sponsored project at SMVDU, Jammu
A Walk-in-interview will be conducted in the School of Biotechnology, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra on 7th June, 2012 at 11:00 AM to select the candidate for engagement as JRF/Project Assistant
Post : JRF/Project Assistant
- Project Sponsor : DST
- Project titled : “Exploring Myxobacteria from the state of J&K for novel enzymes and secondary metabolites”.
- Duration : The duration of the project is three years.

Essential qualifications:
- JRF : Post Graduate Degree in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry with first class and NET –JRF qualified or NET qualified for Lectureship.
- Project Assistant : Post Graduate Degree in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry with first class and overall good academic record.
- Desirable : Experience pertaining to Microbiology and Recombinant DNA technology.
- Fellowship : As per rules of DST, New Delhi.
Eligible candidates may appear together with full CV, original and attested copies of all certificates.
