Vacancy for post of SRF in Department of L & T microbiology research, Sankara Nethralaya

Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the following post in the ICMR funded project titled “Application of Next Generation Sequencing Techniques To determine the whole genome sequences of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterococcus faecalis, Bcaillus cereus (Both sensitive and resistant strains ) and application of Bioinformatics approach to identify the vulnerable area of drug targets in the genome.”, 

Project No : AMR/10/2011-ECD dated 13/06/2012 at the department of L & T Microbiology research department by the Investigators- Dr. J. Malathi (Principal Investigator, Reader . Microbiology, Sankara Nethralaya, and (Co-Investigators: Dr.Uma Shankar (Department of Bio-informatics, Dr. R.Bagylakshmi, Lecturer, Microbiology, Vision Research Foundation, Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai- 600 006. The post is purely temporary for a period of 3 years.

Name of the post : Senior Research Fellow

Qualification :
1. *M.Sc Life sciences preferably Microbiology /Biotechnology with 2 years research experience
(publications desirable)
2. CSIR/NET qualification is preferable.

Salary : 18,000 + 30%HRA
