Scientist 'C' (Genetics/Molecular Biology) vacancy at ICMR, New Delhi

Applications are invited upto 23rd August 2012 for the following two posts of Scientists 'C' in the Pay Band PB-3 Rs.I5600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.6600/- at the National Institute of Pathology, New Delhi. It is a permanent Research Institute of ICMR with thrust areas of Research on Tumour Biology, Infectious Diseases, Environment Toxicology etc.

Essential Qualification & Experience : 
(i) 1st Class Masters Degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Genetics/Biological sciences from a recognized University.
OR
Second class Master's Degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Genetics/Biological sciences with Ph.D. degree from a recognized University in the above mentioned subjects. (ii) four years R&D experience in the field of genetics, immunogenetics or genomics after obtaining essential qualification (i) above.

Desirable Qualification : 
(i) Doctorate degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Genetics/Biological sciences from a recognized university with first class relevant degree.
(ii) Additional Post Doctoral research/teaching experience in the above mentioned subjects in recognized institute(s).
(iii) Knowledge of Computer Applications.
