IARI regional station, Indore recruiting for Research Associate via Walk in Interview

The Principal Scientist & Head intends to recruit one Research Associate in DBT funded project purely on contractual basis. The interview of eligible candidates for the above post will be held on 12 June, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at IARI-Regional Station, Residency Area (Near College of Agriculture), INDORE–452 001 (M.P.). Eligible candidates fulfilling all the requirements should bring their application in the format mentioned below giving full details of academic records and experience along with attested photocopies as well as original copies of relevant documents along with one passport size photograph. Details of the position are given below:

Project title : “Biofortication of wheat for micronutrients through conventional & molecular approaches” — Phase II
Post : Research Associate
Age limit : Maximum age 35 years (age relaxation for SC/ST, women and OBC candidates as per rules).
Essential qualification for the post : Doctorate degree in Plant Breeding and/or Genetics /Agricultural Botany /Life Sciences/ Biochemistry OR M.Sc. in any of these subjects with three years research experience.
Desirable :
(i) Experience of working with crop plants and
(ii) Basic computer skills.
Emoluments for the post : Rs. 22,000/month plus HRA admissible as per rules.
