Five year extensive project at BHU has vacancy for Research Associate

Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate (One) at Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding Institute of Agricultural Sciences,Banaras Hindu University

Post : Research Associate
Fellowship fixed amount : (1st and 2nd year Rs. 22,000/- , 3rd and 4th year Rs.23000/- and 5th year Rs.24,000/- + HRA 20% as per rules of the university) 
Project sponsored by : DBT 
Project title : "Establishment of National Rice Resource Database" sanctioned for Five (05) years (since 22nd August 2009). The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Age : The upper Age limit is 45 years relaxable for five years for SC/ST/Physically handicapped/Female candidates, All things being equal SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOT rules. 
Desirable : Candidates with experience of research in the area of project and computer
application for data analysis will be preferred.
Essential Qualification : The candidate should be PhD in Genetics and Plant Breeding/Plant Genetic Resources from a recognized university with a minimum of first class in M.Sc. (Ag) or Post Graduate in above mentioned discipline having research experience of minimum three years in relevant area of research.
