Applications are invited on a plain paper/e-mail (along with copies of educational qualifications) from eligible candidates for selection of Two Project Assistants and Lab/Green house Attendant under DBT sponsored project entitled “Identification and molecular characterization of a new virus causing severe mosaic disease in melons (Cucumis melo)”, sanctioned to Dr. Gopinath Kodetham, Department of Plant Sciences, University of Hyderabad. Hyderabad.

• Emoluments : Rs 8000/- pm
• Essential Qualification : M. Sc/Integrated M. Sc in any area of Biology/Microbiology/Virology/ Biotechnology
• Duration : Appointments are made for a period of one year and can be extended Until the duration of the project i.e., for a period of 2 ½ years.

Applications in the form of hard copies/email soft copies may be sent to the above address on or before 5th July, 2012. Short-listed candidates would be called for a personal interview at School of Life Sciences, University of Hyderabad, Near Gachibowli, Hyderabad 500 046. Only candidates who would fit into objectives of the projects would be called for interview. Interview date will be intimated via e-mail at a later time point (Approximately on 14-15th of July). No TA/DA would be paid for attending the interview.
