Walk in test followed by Interview for two SRF posts at NRCG, Pune

Online applications are invited for the selection of SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOWS under the time bound project entitled “Decision Support System for Enhancing Productivity of Grapes under Moisture and Temperature Stress Conditions “as per the details indicated below :

Qualification :
a) ESSENTIAL : M. Sc in ‘Soil Science’ OR M. Sc in ‘Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry ‘ OR M. Sc Agriculture (Agronomy/Soil and Water Management/Agricultural Physics with specialized research in soil fertility and plant nutrition/irrigation/in related field of the project as evidenced by research work OR M. Sc Horticulture (fruit science/pomology/vegetable science/floriculture with specialized research in soil fertility and plant nutrition/irrigation/in related field of the project as evidenced by research work.
b) DESIRABLE :
(i) Research experience in soil, plant and water testing/irrigating management of Horticultural/Agricultural crops as and publications.
(ii) The candidate should have working knowledge of instruments used in soil and water management studies, statistical tools and working knowledge of computer software namely MS Office (word, excel and power point) and conducting of field and laboratory experiments.
Emoluments : Rs 16000/- p.m (consolidated) + HRA
Upper age limit : 35 years for Men and 40 years for Women as on the date of interview (Relaxation in age will be allowed for SC/ST/OBC etc., as per Govt of India/ ICAR norms)
Duration of the project : Initially for one year and extendable upto three years

(i) Experience in biochemical/physiological plant parameters/soil, plant and water testing
agronomic/horticultural crops as evidenced by publications.
(ii) The candidate should have working knowledge of instruments used in soil and water management studies, statistical tools and working knowledge of computer software namely MS Office (word, excel and power point) and conducting of field and laboratory experiments.
