Applications are invited for the following vacancies purely on temporary basis renewable annually under Non- Institutional ad-hoc projects to be filled in through Walk-in Interview as indicated below:
I) Attempts to identify the putative Gorakhpur agent using SOLID technology – ICMR Project
Post : Research Scientist - I (Non Medical)
No of Post : 1
Pay : Rs. 33,306/- + HRA
Essential Qualification :
1. 1st Class Masters Degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Zoology.
2. 2nd Class Masters Degree + Ph. D degree in above subjects
Desirable :
1. Doctorate or MD in the related subject.
2. Additional Post doctoral research/teaching experience in NGS platforms, molecular biology
3. Knowledge of Computer Applications

II) HEPATITIS GENERATED FUND – NIV Project
Post : Senior Research Fellow [Non-Medical]
No of Post : 2
Essential Qualification :
1. M.Sc. Bioinformatics / life sciences
2. Two years research experience in Bioinformatics.
Desirable : Bioinformatics analysis for next generation sequencing platforms
Age : Below 35 years
III) Survey for zoonotic viral pathogens in bats and other domestic animals – ICMR Project
Post : Technical Officer-A
No of Post : 1
Pay : Rs. 27,397/-
Essential Qualification : Three years Graduates degree in life sciences with 5 years experience or Three years graduates degree in life sciences with two years diploma in relevant discipline with 3 years experience
Desirable :
1. M.Sc. Life Sciences
2. Knowledge of biosafety issues in the biomedical laboratories
3. Experience of working in BSL-3
4. Experience of preparation of various SOPs needed for lab.
5. Laboratory experience in Immunology techniques / cell culture
