Project vacancy at G.B. Pant Institute of Himalayan Environment & Development, Almora

Applications are invited for purely project based temporary position(s) in different R&D projects. Candidates having appropriate qualifications in relevant subject/specialization with consistently good academic record and experience as given below :

Projcet title : MoEF sponsored project entitled “Ecosystem Services in Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve, Uttarakhand”. (P.I.- Dr. G.C.S. Negi)
Post : Research Fellow/Consultant
Emoluments : Rs 15000/- pm
Educational Qualification : Masters degree in Botany, Forestry, Forestry Management, Biodiversity Conservation, and Environmental Sciences with minimum of 60% marks.
Desirable : Experience of research work in Himalayan area on Forest ecosystem services; Natural resource Economics; Biodiversity Conservation; Ecological Modeling and RS/GIS
Job Description : Undertake extensive field work in Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve (Uttarakhand). Data collection compilation and report writing
