Pondicherry University has vacancy for JRF/Field Assistant for M.Sc & B.Sc
Applications are invited on plain paper with complete bio-data and copies of mark sheets for the following temporary positions in a 5-year Ministry of Environment & Forests, Government of India- sponsored research project titled "Sacred Grove Ecosystem Services Assessnwnt in Tropical dry evergreen forests on the Coromandel Coast of India
- Post : JRF
- No of Post : Two
- Qualification : M.Sc. Botany/Zoology/Ecology & Environmental Sciences Pass in NET -UGC
- /CSIR-JRF/Lecturership preferable
- Salary : Rs. 12000/-p.m + Rs.900 HRA-for 2 years. Rs. 14000+1050 HRA- for subsequent 3 years
Post : Field Assistant
- No of Post : Two
- Qualification : B.Sc Botany
- Salary : Rs. 6000/-p.m (fixed)
Sound knowledge in Systematics and Ecology and computers and preparedness for strenuous field work are preferable. Initial appointment will be for one year and it will be subsequently extended based on their perfonnance.
