JRF post vacant in Dept. of Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering at GB Pant University

Applications are invited for award of one Junior Research Fellow in the project entitled “Programme Mode Support in Agricultural Biotechnology, Phase- II ”, under the Coordinatorship of Dr. Anil Kumar and Co-Coordinatorship of Dr. Sandeep Arora, under this programme out of four research programme, the position are required for sub-project entitled “Genetic Enhancement of aromatic rice landraces through molecular breeding to develop high yielding, ideal plant type, blast resistance and better quality aromatic rice varieties for wider adoptability by farmers”
(PI: Dr. J. Kumar; Co-PI: Dr. A.K. Gaur, Dr. I.D. Pandey) - (JRF- 01 No.)
The fellowship is purely temporary and may continue till the duration of the project or maximum six months which ever is earlier. The appointment shall be extended on six monthly review basis.
Essential Qualification:

• Applicant possessing M.Sc. /M.Sc. (Ag.) degree in Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Plant Pathology/ Agricultural Botany/ Biotechnology
• working experience on Molecular markers in Crop Improvement.

Fellowship: Rs. 12000/- pm
