DST-SERB sponsored Micro Algae project has a JRF vacancy at MKU
Applications are invited for one position of Junior Research Fellow for a period of 3 years in the DST-SERB sponsored project "Studies on Expression Levels of Essential Fattyacid Biosynthetic Genes in Micro Algae". The appointment is purely on merit basis and temporary for the project period.
- Post : Junior Research Fellow
- Essential qualification : M.Sc., in Applied Botany/Botany/Biotechnology*/Microbiology*/ Plant Sciences or any other Life Sciences* with experience in Plant tissue culture and Micro algal culture. * Research work should be in Plants/Algae
- Desirable qualification : CSIR, ICAR, ICMR - .IRFs and NET/GATE qualified candidates and also those who have previous research experience in Genetic Transformation and Metabolic regulation in Crop plants and Microalgae.
- Emoluments : Rs.12,000 / month for I and II year and Rs.14000/month for III year with admissible HRA
