SRF Recruitment In ICMR Project @ Centre for Biotechnology, Anna University, Chennai

Name of the Post : Senior Research Fellow

project entitled “National Network for genotyping of Human lymphatic filarial parasite W.bancrofti from different endemic areas”

Essential qualifications : M.Sc./M.Tech. Branch: Biotechnology/marine Biotechnology / Microbiology Candidates with previous experience in molecular biology/polymorphism will
be given preference

Nature of work : Collection of filarial/clinical samples, cloning/sequencing/ frequency determination of genetic alleles/polymorphism of genes/ phylogenetic and molecular analysis/ compilation and documentation.

Consolidated Salary per month : Rs.16,800/- (including HRA)

Mode of Selection : Short listed candidates shall be called for an interview at CBT, Anna University, Chennai and no TA/DA will be provided to attend the interview. The candidate will be appointed purely on contract basis for a period of 18 months.
