IISER Thiruvanathapuram (IISER TVM) is one of the five IISERs set up by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India as national lead institutions for fostering excellence in the higher education and research in science. The institute conducts Integrated Dual-Degree (BS-MS) programme and PhD programme with frontier research thrusts in the contemporary scenario. The institute is currently operating from transit campus in the College of Engineering, Thiruvanathapuram (CET). Pay : Rs 9300-34800 (PB-2) + Grade Pay Rs.4200

Age : 38 years; Relaxations in age limit:3 years for OBCs 

Qualification  & Experience :
For 7A – Technical Assistant(Laboratory):
i. MSc in Biological/Chemical Sciences or B.Tech /BE in Instrumentation or MSc/B.Tech in Biotechnology with First Class or equivalent grade
ii. One year experience as technical staff in
(a) Biological/ Chemical laboratory in a reputed organization / firm or
(b) Conducting /teaching lab courses in Biological / Chemical sciences at undergraduate / postgraduate level in recognized educational institution.
Desirable : Experience in handlinganalytical / spectroscopic / microscopic equipment

For 7B - Technical Assistant(Campus): 
i. Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture / Forestry / Agriculture with First Class or equivalent
grade.
ii. 2 years’ experience in relevant areas of horticulture, landscape development and plantation works preferably with large campus management operations.
