ADMISSION NOTICE 2012-13 : TEZPUR UNIVERSITY, TEZPUR

Applications in prescribed form are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the following programmes of studies for the session 2012-13

Category A : Admission through Entrance Examinations

Category D : Ph.D. programme

  • Candidates will be admitted on the basis of their performance in the written test and personal interview conducted by molecular biology & Biotechnology,Food Engineering & Technology and Environmental Science

Self Supported Scheme (SSS) :

  • Tezpur University has a provision for admission of students under Self Supported Scheme (SSS). Waitlisted candidates failing to get seat in the normal process may seek admission under this provision by paying some amount of fees in addition to the normal fees at the time of admission

How to apply :
TU application form along with the prospectus can be obtained (i) from the designated branches of PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK by paying Rs.510/-( Rs.250/- for SC/ST) or, (ii) in person by paying Rs. 500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST) from the office of the Controller of Examinations, T.U., or (iii) by sending a request to the Controller of Examination, T.U. with a demand draft of Rs. 560/- (Rs. 310/- for SC/ST) in favour of the Registrar, Tezpur University, payable at Tezpur, with a self addressed unstamped envelope of 36 cm x 25 cm., or ,(iv) downloading the forms from the website (www.tezu.ernet.in). Downloaded application form should be accompanied with a draft of Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST) drawn in favour of the Registrar, Tezpur University, payable at Tezpur. The Bank Draft should be prepared between 01.04.12 to 26.04.12 for admission to B. Tech. programme and between 01.02.12 to 26.03.12 for all other programmes. 

Date of Issue of T.U. prospectus with application forms
(i) For all programmes other than B. Tech: February 01 to March 26, 2012
(ii) For B. Tech programme: February 01 to April 26, 2012

Applications received after the last date will not be entertained. Applications must be accompanied with all relevant documents. Incomplete applications will be rejected summarily.
