CSIR NET June 2011 was

well set paper!! glad that pattern has changed! mere reading the entire syllabus wud just nt help! analytical and logical thru and thru! one needs to be super thorough wid fundamentals and have real good practical exposure!

Finally CSIR has done what it should have done some years ago. This new pattern is a lease of life to all the genuinely research oriented students. I am quite happy and contended with the current pattern C section is the real evaluator of the actual understanding level of a scholar. With the earlier pattern balance was tilted towards those who had an upper hand in subjective writing.  Now the things are at the fairer ground. Thanks to CSIR for standardising the paper and making the exam more interesting and knowledge based.  Yeah I agree that it was time consuming especially the C section but I guess with the A section being the easiest one and B subject based so if we spend first 15 mins on a section next 45 mins on Bsection that will leave 2 hrs for Section C. This is only for the people who will appear in dec 2011 net I am only making a speculation a calucation of time management after having appeared in june 2011 net.  So I guess If one has studied well and prepared in-depth then with time management and proper knowledge one can get through with CSIR

 I think, exam was in practical approach rather than the theoritical one........ those one who were totally stuck to the books,..... it might  was little difficult for them to check out the paper.
