Opening for RA/ SRF/ JRF in a CSIR sponsored R&D project @ Delhi University

The University of Delhi is the premier university of the country and is known for its high standards in teaching and research and attracts eminent scholars to its faculty. It was established in 1922 as a unitary, teaching and residential university by an Act of the then Central Legislative Assembly. The President of India is the Visitor, the Vice President is the Chancellor and the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India is the Pro-Chancellor of the University.

Five Departments namely Chemistry, Geology, Zoology, Sociology and History have been awarded the status of the Centres of Advanced Studies. These Centres of Advanced Studies have carved a niche for themselves as centres of excellence in teaching and research in their respective areas.

  1. one of JRF/SRF (@Rs 16,000/and Rs 18000/pm plus 30% HRA) in a DBT funded R&D project on, “Production and Characterization of Recombinant bovine and bubaline Gonadotropins” (Period 2012-15).
  2. One position of Research Associate (RA)/SRF/JRF in a CSIR sponsored R&D project on, “Structure-Function Relationship in Pregnant Mare Serum Gonadotropin PMSG)” (Period 2012-2015).

Essential Qualifications :

  • PhD with publications in relevant discipline for RA, M.Sc in Zoology/ Life Sciences/ Biosciences
  • preferably NET qualified for JRF, M.Sc with 2 years research experience with a publication or two for SRF
