A Walk-in Interview will be held at the Department of Biotechnology, Alagappa University, Karaikudi - 630 003 on 25.04.2012 (Wednesday) at 11.00 AM for the position of ONE Senior Research Fellow (SRF) under the CSIR funded project entitled, “Development of abiotic stress tolerant indica rice lines (IR 64) with Stress Associated Protein gene (SAP 8) through Agrobacterium – mediated transformation ”.

Qualification : A minimum of two years of research experience in the area of Plant Biotechnology, with I Class M.Sc., in Biotechnology/ Botany/ Plant Sciences/ Microbiology/ molecular biology or equivalent of a recognized University.
Emoluments & Duration : Rs. 18,000 + HRA per month- for CSIR SRF -Three years
Candidates appearing for the Walk-in Interview should bring CV, copies of certificates and all original certificates/ testimonials for verification. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
