Walk in interview will be conducted in Division of Nematology, IARI for SRF post

Walk in interview will be conducted in the chamber of the Head, Division of Nematology, IARI, New Delhi 110012, to fill Senior Research Fellow position in the ICAR-funded NAIP, project entitled “Understanding plant-nematode interactions using RNAi”, on 26 April 2012. The project as of now ends on 30th June 2012, unless provided extension by the ICAR. Two positions of SRF are also expected to be available in another ICAR project "Understanding plant-nematode interaction: Identification of plant and nematode genes involved in disease development‟. The tentative date of start of the project shall be in May/June 2012.

Post : SRF
Essential qualifications : M. Sc. (60% or more only) in Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology.
Desirable : Candidates with research work experience in the area of plant transformation or gene cloning will be preferred.
Age limit : 35 years max. (Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and women candidates, as per
government rules).
Salary : Rs. 16000 + 30% HRA.
