Walk-in-Interview for the award of UGC-BSR Research Fellowship at Jamia Hamdard

Department of Biotechnology, Jamia Hamdard holding Walk-in-Interview for the award of UGC-BSR Research Fellowship for the academic session 2012-2013 with the purpose of providing opportunities to meritorious students to undertake research leading to Ph.D. degree in Biotechnology.  The candidates who will be awarded these fellowships have to work in the thrust areas of UGC SAP (DRS-I): Metabolic Engineering of Plant Metabolites and Proteomics Based Biomarkers.

As per UGC BSR Research Fellowship guidelines the following is the eligibility criteria :

a) Candidate should be M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Biosciences/ Life Sciences with 60% or more marks.
b) Should be registered for Ph.D.
c) Those candidates who are not registered but are working in some labs in Department of Biotechnology, Jamia Hamdard in the above mentioned areas and are eligible for registration as per the Jamia Hamdard admission norms for Ph.D.
d) Desirable qualification : NET – LS

Emoluments : Rs. 14,000/- PM + Contingency grant of Rs.12,000/- per annum
