The International Research Training Group – Complex Membrane Proteins in Cellular Development and Disease (IRTG 1830) offers several PhD Fellowships in Life Sciences. The program is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) .The IRTG 1830 – jointly run by the University of Kaiserslautern (Germany), Saarland University (Germany) and the University of Alberta (Canada) – offers integrative approaches to biomedical research with a strong emphasis on developmental processes and diseases.
