PhD student position @ CELL Unit of de Duve Institute, Brussels, Belgium
Université catholique de Louvain (UCL), Brussels, Belgium is seeking for an enthusiastic candidate holding a Master degree (or equivalent), with strong interest in advanced morphological methods, to join a young research team in cell and molecular biology, and aiming at a PhD in Biomedical Sciences.
Work nature : The research will be carried out at the Laboratory of Cell Biology (CELL) and the Platform for Imaging Cells and Tissues (PICT) @ de Duve Institute (Brussels), an international multidisciplinary biomedical research Institute associated with the Université catholique de Louvain (http://www.deduveinstitute.be/cell_biology.php).
Work description : The successfull PhD student will benefit advanced training in high-throughput high-resolution live cell imaging combined with sophisticated techniques, including scanning and transmission electron microscopy. The student will also be registered at the general Doctoral School which provides transferrable skills such as communication, scientific writing, animal ethics and practice (optional), team work etc...
