One Post doctoral position available at Structural Glycobiology Group - Unit of Biophysics, Spain

A one year funded postdoctoral research position (with the possibility of renewal for a second year based on performance) is immediately available at the Structural Glycobiology Group, at the Unit of Biophysics, Spain (http://www.unidaddebiofisica.org/member.aspx?member=60). 

What we seek : We are seeking a highly motivated individual, interested to investigate the structural, mechanistic and functional properties of glycosyltransferases and other carbohydrate binding enzymes. To this end, we are using a multidisciplinary approach including cellular and molecular biology, protein biochemistry, protein biophysics and structural biology. 
Description : This position will provide excellent training opportunities and networked environment.
Educational Requirement : Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in biochemistry, molecular biology, biophysics, structural biology or related fields, with a strong background in molecular biology, protein biochemistry and biophysics. Expertice in X-ray protein crystallography or other techniques in structural biology would be a plus. The candidate should have a strong publication record in quality peer-reviewed journals, demonstrated creative thinking, be able to work independently and have the ability to work collaboratively in a laboratory environment.
