M.Sc/M.Tech Life Science...Apply for JRF position at RGCB, Thiruvananthapuram

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for one position of Junior Research Fellow in a DBT funded research project entitled “A Novel Technology Platform for Assay of calcium channels” at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram.

Post : Junior Research Fellow
Essential Qualification : M.Sc./M.Tech in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/Zoology with consistent good academic grades (Minimum of 60% aggregate. Candidates should have qualified NET. Relevant prior experience in areas such as animal tissue culture and molecular biology are desirable.
Emoluments : 16,800/- per month (Consolidated).
Duration : Two years or till termination of the project (whichever is earlier).

Only those fulfilling the above criteria need apply and in the event of more than 10 candidates being short-listed for selection procedure, a written test will be held. Candidates qualifying in the written test will then be assessed at a selection interview.
