A Postdoc position is immediately available at Wang laboratory, Baylor College of Medicine. The individual will be working on our integrative genomics initiatives aimed at discovering recurrent gene fusions from next generation sequencing data in cancer, and will be responsible for nomination and experimental validation of recurrent gene fusions in breast and lung cancers, characterization of their molecular nature, confirmation of oncogenicity through in vitro and in vivo models, as well as further mechanistic studies.
