Applications are invited for the position of a Junior Research Fellow to work in the DST-SERB Fast Track project – “Molecular Dynamics of Rhodopsin and Arrestin in Visual Signal Transduction”
 
Eligibility                                                                                         
M.Tech. / M.Sc. in Life Sciences with atleast 60% marks and with consistently good academic results. Preference will be given to CSIR/UGC(NET)/GATE qualified candidates. Experience in Protein Expression & Purification, PCR, Cloning, Sequencing and with publications will be an added advantage.
 
Fellowship – As per DST-SERB FAST TRACK norms
 
Tenure
The appointment will be on temporary basis for the period of three years subject to annual performance assessment of the candidate in the project work.
 
Selection procedure
Candidates can submit their CV through email/post/courier along with a recent passport photograph and names of 2 referees to the following address on or before 15th June 2012. Candidates selected for the interview will be informed through post/email. If you are selected in the interview, you will be required to produce recommendation letters from the referees. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
