Bioinformatics Research & Applications Workshop @ University Of Lucknow | Students & Researchers can attend
DBT has sanctioned grant for the establishment of Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility for the promotion of Biology teaching through Bioinformatics under the Scheme of BTISnet. The Bioinformatics Lab is well equipped with Bioinformatics software, Server for Database Application, Desktop Machines, Printers, Scanner, Photocopier, and Internet Connection Including Modems & Softwares. Recently, UP Government sanctioned the grant to develop the facility as Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics. The major research carried out in the department is database development, comparative genomics and drug designing etc.

Prerequisite: Minimum skills in operation of computers and knowledge of basics of molecular biology. People from India as well as other countries are eligible for workshop.
