The Study of Computational Biology & Bioinformatics (Bioinformatics Unit) Biotechnology Division Announces Bioinformatics Workshop on "The Bioinformatics of Next Generation Sequencing"

Duration of the workshop: 2 days (17 - 18 June, 2010)

Methodology of the workshop:Through a carefully selected set of experts, having real hand in this field in our country, this workshop intends to discuss the first hand experience of the experts themselves at a single common platform. A well supplemented hands-on session will be conducted with the latest softwares and tools used in NGS studies. Machines of both the flavors, Linux as well as Windows, will be available for the hands-on training.

Eligibility for applying:students, research scholars, faculty and industry personnel who work in the area of Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, molecular biology, genomics, epigenomics, sequence analysis and sequencing, SNP , expression and gene regulation studies can attend the workshop

Registration fees Details :
Rs2500 for candidates from research institutes & academics
Rs 10,000 for candidates from industries
